The Global 10 design is suitable for up to 2,000 day old chicks. It has a very large heat range of 3,000 – 30,000 Btu, therefore making it much more adaptable than our ceramic brooders.
The strong stainless steel reflector and spherical burner helps to radiate 95% of the heat efficiently downwards. Hang the Global 10 Gas Brooder at a higher height (between 1.8 mtrs and 2 mtrs) to enable it to heat a large area.

The spare parts for this brooder are the same as the Global 5 apart from the Jet & the Dust Filters. This gas brooder requires more air than the Global 5 design, therefore larger filters are fitted.
As with the Global 5; the venturi can be removed completely during cleaning. With some other brands, this is not possible so it will result in lower efficiency once they get dirty/dusty.
Creating an optimal environment is of great importance for rearing poultry and game birds; especially in the first few days of life. Research has shown that the use of infrared heating stimulates the growth of young birds and animals. This is because of the radiant heat that warms the animals can be compared to the heat from the sun. This brooder is ideal for a larger rearing shed.
Thermostatically controlled global heaters automatically maintain the chosen temperature. So when there is no need for heat, the pilot light keeps the burner operating with very low gas consumption. Basically they will save you time and money!
