What’s the difference between knotted and knotless netting?

Knotted netting, our standard for football and rugby perimeters, is durable and cost-effective for general containment. Knotless netting, such as our 20mm mesh range, has a smoother finish with fewer snag points, which is often preferred for golf and cricket applications where ball flight and netting longevity under frequent impact both matter.

Can I get custom sizes for football or cricket netting?

Yes. Most of our perimeter netting, including the football, rugby, and cricket ranges, is made to order to your exact dimensions. Lead times are typically 2 to 3 weeks, so it’s worth ordering ahead of the season rather than leaving it until you need the net installed.

What fixings do I need to install perimeter netting?

It depends on the structure you’re fixing to. For posts, frames, or fencing, galvanised snap hooks are a quick and secure option for hanging netting at multiple points along the top edge. For softer surfaces or securing loose netting, cable ties are a simple, cost-effective alternative for smaller fixing points.
