Fisheries Supplies Collins Nets are one of the leading suppliers of fisheries supplies and equipment in the UK. We are a family run business and have been operating in the industry since 1986. During this time, we’ve gained an excellent reputation and cemented our position as the supplier of choice for a number of different Government agencies, fish farms and fisheries. We manufacture and supply high quality nets, drysuits and rescue equipment. Fishing nets and traps We supply a wide range of fishing nets from our warehouse in Dorset. It is a key part of our fisheries supplies business. The majority are hand rigged on site by our highly experienced and talented team to your exacting requirements. We work closely with our customers to deliver bespoke projects for fisheries large and small. We only use top end materials to ensure your nets stand the test of time. Seine Nets are one of the most popular nets we sell at Collins. We will rig them for you, but we also sell the components separately for spares or repairs. Fyke Nets are available alongside an extensive range of stainless-steel dip nets, hand nets and replacement handles. We also stock twines, woven netting and an extensive selection of fishery accessories, including fish baskets, buoys, gorilla tubs and otter guards. We manufacture fish cages, tank covers and survey gill nets on site. Crayfish traps and bait boxes can be purchased online. Bird netting & vermin control We are a leading supplier of quality bird netting to protect your lakes and ponds from predators. Our netting is available in a range of sizes and it is manufactured from UV stabilised twine that is water and run resistant. Our anti predator bird netting is used in fish farms across the UK to keep herons, ospreys, seagulls and cormorants at bay. It features square mesh netting and is very strong. We also stock a number of traps, poisons and deterrents to help you keep on top of vermin control. Clothing & PPE High quality clothing is essential when working in a wet and cold environment, so we supply some of the leading protective clothing brands to fisheries and fish farms. We sell a range of products from Guy Cotton and Ocean, including chest waders, thigh waders, bib and brace, smocks, neoprene and Kevlar gloves. We also keep a selection of life jackets, replacement Co2 cylinders, throw lines and rescue equipment in stock. Drysuits We supply an extensive range of drysuits for fisheries and rescue services. Our drysuits come in a variety of sizes and colours and are made from strong materials for industrial use. There is a selection of optional extras, including pockets, badges and nylon or neoprene seals. We supply thermal undersuits to keep you nice and warm in the chillier months. Drysuit accessories including hanger drying systems, socks and bags are also available.
