All the sizes of the Heavy Galvanised Wire Netting – 31mm are galvanised after manufacture for the best quality.  The 1.2 mm thickness wire is the best quality therefore it will last longer, working out better value long term.

Available in the following sizes:

• 1050mm (3 ½ft) – 1.0mm x 50 metres – Weight per roll 23 kg – 28 rolls per pallet
• 1050mm (3 ½ft) – 1.2mm x 50 metres – Weight per roll 35 kg – 16 rolls per pallet
• 1800mm (6ft) – 1.0mm x 50 metres – Weight per roll 46 kg – 23 rolls per pallet

We do not have a good value reliable courier option for sending individual rolls of wire weighing over 25kgs. Therefore any orders for 1 roll or many rolls will now be sent on a pallet service.

Release Pens

Gamekeepers often use a combination of wire netting and plastic fencing to make release pens. To construct the release pen fence you need an overall height of about 7 ft, with about 1 ft buried below ground or turned out and secured down with U pins to stop predators from digging in. A further foot should be turned out at the top to hold back predators that try to jump or climb in.

Many follow the guidelines set out by the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust for release pen construction. However every Gamekeeper has their own way!
