Rest assured, we have created a handy short guide on how to set up a 30kg Drum Feeder, with an accompanying instructional video from Chris, our product expert at Collins Nets. 1. Assemble the 30KG Drum Feeder parts After you have selected you chosen feeder attachment and purchased your drum feeder, it is time to assemble the parts in preparation of setting it up. Before you start putting the feeder together, make sure you have all the necessary components in front of you. Parts included: 1x Blue 30kg Drum 1x Feeder attachment 2x Tanalised legs 3x Short bolts 3x Long bolts 6x Washers 6x Nuts 2. Attach Feeder to Drum The way you attach the feeder will depend upon which attachment you opted to buy. Please note that we do not supply the fixings for the attachments, however the Spiral and Wright feeders can be dropped down from inside the drum, as shown in the photo below and the instructional video. 3. Attach the legs Each leg will have a long and a short bolt that are used to attach the leg to the Drum Feeder. Handy tip: The shorter bolt should be placed into the top hole, as shown in the photo below. Repeat the process for the other two legs, then test out your 30kg Drum Feeder – it’s as easy as that! The Spiral Spring Feeder is made from a quality zinc coating. The Wright Feeder attachment is made from steel, so it is very strong and inexpensive.
