Turf guard is a tough extruded plastic grid for permanent reinforcement of grassed areas used by vehicles and pedestrians. It will help to disperse the weight placed upon it thus creating a more stable platform.
Turf Guard Mesh size is 27 mm x 27 mm – 2 mtrs x 30 mtrs roll.
It is a High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) net with a diamond mesh. The hole size is approximately 35mm x 33mm. Its structure ensures effective anchoring of the roots, while efficiently protecting the grass from being pulled up.
Turf Guard is lightweight and extremely flexible, it is particularly suitable for golf courses, especially on driving ranges, to protect against depressions of the surfaces. Moreover, pickers can pick balls more easily. This feature can be appreciated in particular during moist periods of the year, when balls tend to sink into the ground if there is not a suitable net.
Turf Guard provides an ideal solution to parking problems and damage prone grassed areas.

Surfaces with existing grass:
For new installations
For best results, wait until the grass has grown through the mesh as the root mass of the grass must interlock with the filaments of the mesh. However, it can be laid directly onto grass or soil and then seeded.
The protected area will soon resume its natural green appearance with the mesh becoming invisible once the grass has grown through, it will then provide a stable surface which will withstand the weight of cars and will also prevent further damage and rutting.
We advise installing the net in spring when the grass grows quickly and roots can grip the mesh more easily. If the area to be covered is wide, it is advisable to overlap the edges of the mesh and fix it to the ground with U staples which ensure strong anchoring.
To protect a wide area overlap the layers and secure.
