Measure the area to be protected in order to determine how many metres of plastic mesh fencing to order.
The plastic mesh fencing can be attached to existing trees with staples. When doing so, we recommend that the trees are no more than 20ft apart. If so, additional supports will be needed. For optimum results use 10ft posts which should be buried 3 feet deep. Pull the fence tight before securing to supports. For additional support attach to straining wire along the top and bottom of the fence, securing it to the supports.
Deer are notorious for trying to push under a fence. In order to keep them from getting in, be sure the netting touches the ground so that you can anchor it using metal pins every 3 metres. Alternatively you could also use wire netting for the bottom half of the fence.
If deer are numerous or for deer farms, you should consider a stronger alternative.

Installation is simple. Use posts or stakes (not available from Collins Nets) to secure the netting at the desired height. Unroll the netting, attach it to the posts using ties or clips, and ensure the bottom is secured to prevent wildlife from burrowing underneath.
