A Seine net is commonly pulled through the water in the manner of a trawl, but can also be used as stop nets to separate areas of water.
We add a sweep and handle to all 4 corners of our seine nets. Subsequently, this makes them easy to attach to a bridle or can be used by hand. Consequently, the sweeps make longer nets, which might become heavy during maneuvering, much easier to handle.
Your Seine net should be 1½ times longer than the width of your water way. As a result, you will create a wide arch with the net when corralling the fish.
Once you have seined the length of your water you can use our Dip Nets and Fish Cages to retrieve and hold your fish.
