Egg Wash DM CID – 25 kg Liquid

DM CID egg wash is a liquid alkaline which is especially formulated for washing dirty eggs, baskets and chick boxes.

Due to new regulations in place from 1st October 2023, we can no longer sell this item to members of the public. Professional users (ie Game & Poultry Farmers) please contact us to sign a declaration form and send a copy of your ID.

Powder products are more corrosive as they have to break down in the water and long term can corrode egg washers. Therefore liquid egg washes are better.

• Washing eggs: 0.5% DM CID (500ml for every 100 litres of water) at 42-50ºC and rinse with water at 45-47ºC. Allow less than 5 min contact time to avoid damage to the cuticle. Leaves eggs shiny with no visible water marks.
• Baskets and boxes: Wash at 0.5%-1% with DM CID to remove the organic load.
