Screen Netting FAQs

Does screen netting block wind?

It reduces wind but does not function as a total barrier. Its close-knit structure calms turbulence while still allowing safe airflow. This makes it suitable for both construction and rearing environments.

How do I install scaffold or debris netting?

Attach it securely along the top rail, then tension and fasten at intervals down the sides. Use robust cable ties or clips rated for outdoor use. Consistent tension prevents tearing in gusty weather.

Is screen netting suitable for pens or holding areas?

Yes. It offers visual privacy, reduces external distraction, and helps calm birds. It also keeps loose feathers and bedding from blowing out of pens.

What colours are available and does it matter?

Common colours include green, black, and high-visibility options depending on purpose. Darker colours blend into the environment and reduce visual stress. Brighter colours are used for construction or hazard marking.
