FAQs What’s the difference between Jade Grain (Bromadialone) and Ruby Grain (Difenacoum)? Both are multi-feed, second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides formulated on whole grain with added aniseed to draw rats and mice away from other food sources, and both are effective against rodents that have developed resistance to first-generation poisons such as Warfarin. The difference is the active ingredient: Jade Grain uses Bromadialone, Ruby Grain uses Difenacoum. Many gamekeepers and farmers rotate between the two on a site as part of good resistance management, or choose based on what’s worked well on their ground previously. If you’re not sure which is right for your situation, give us a call and we’ll talk it through. < All FAQs
