What should I use as bait in the Magpie Larsen Trap?

With the live catch magpie larsen trap it’s recommended to add a decoy bird to the trap. This attracts other magpies to enter the trap. Our magpie larsen trap is double entry from the top – making it for easy for birds to enter, and of course hard to leave!

By law you must keep your magpie in the cool bird compartment as shown in our instructional guide, and ensure the bird has a constant supply of food and water.
