What are the benefits of using a bait station?

Bait stations have many advantages.

1. The plastic housing prevents the bait becoming damp or damaged – this is especially useful if the trap is set outside. Containing the poison within a small area, will prevent spillages and contamination.
2. Bait stations are dark and confined, which mimics the types of environments that rodents like to frequent. This means that rats will feel safe and secure and more likely to feed
3. The bait is safely contained within the plastic housing. This means the poison or trap cannot be accessed by non-target species. Some of the bait stations we sell at Collins Nets have locks on them to prevent them being opened by anyone other than the person that initially set the trap up.
