FAQs What are dry suits made from? Drysuits are made from a range of waterproof materials – including Cordura, polyester and nylon. The material is dependent on the drysuits intended purpose and the length of time it is likely to be worn. For instance, our Surface Drysuits are made from Cordura – the strongest material in the Collins Range. This is because they need to withstand harsh environments and challenging weather conditions. Our Patrol Drysuits, on the other hand, are manufactured using heavy duty polyester to provide increased flexibility and comfort. These suits are worn by rescue services and are often worn for long periods of time. < All FAQs
