FAQs

Will a tarp work as a golf net? / Can I hit golf balls into a tarp?

We do not recommend using tarpaulin as a golf practice or barrier net. Whilst it may work in the short term, plastic sheeting is not very strong and is likely to get damaged.

Instead, we suggest using specialised golf netting. Golf netting is durable and made to withstand harsh weather conditions. You won’t have to worry about sun damage, deflection or the ball making a hole.

If you’re looking for a screen for your golf simulator, take a look at our white golf baffle netting – it’s a great alternative to a tarp.  It weighs 480g per square metre with webbing on all the edges. It is also suitable for use at the back of golf practice cages.

Our practice cage netting is excellent quality and exceptionally strong. It has been specifically designed to meet golfers’ requirements and will stop a ball in tracks.
