How to store a drysuit?

Storing your drysuit properly is essential part of ownership. Proper maintenance will keep your drysuit looking and performing great for years to come.

After use we recommend rinsing the drysuit with clean and fresh water. This will remove any contaminants as well as silt, sand or dirt that may have accumulated during use. Next, hang it up on a heavy duty drysuit hanger. This will allow the water to run off and maintain the suits shape.

You may wish to invest in a HangAir Drying System hanger to aid the drying process. This clever bit of kit has a built-in high-power fan, which will dry and ventilate your suit in a matter of hours.

We recommend storing your Collins drysuit in a cool room, away from direct sun light. Wetsuits with plastic zips should be stored with the zips completely shut. Leaving it open can cause the zip to bend, which can lead to leaks over time.
