How does a Magpie Larsen Trap work?

The Magpie Trap features two catching boxes to enable two birds to be caught. Sit-in the structure, a decoy bird is placed as ‘bait’. This bird is fed, watered and remains in the trap until intruders willingly enter, and once inside, can’t leave.
