Are grey squirrel traps legal in the UK?

Yes. Grey squirrels are classed as a non-native invasive species under UK legislation, and approved traps may be used to control them. The Goodnature A18 is listed under the Spring Traps Approval Order and is legal for use in England (from 1 January 2019) and Wales (from 1 February 2019). All traps must be used in line with the conditions of the Order.
