The ceramic gas brooders are a very reliable solution for heating in livestock environments. Heat poultry, game birds, pigs and cattle housing with these gas brooders.
Although the ceramic gas brooder is a classic design, it has proved to be very sustainable and reliable.
Adjust the temperature manually, according to the needs of the birds or animals housed.
As a result of testing and experience we recommend a suspension height of between 0.70 m and 1.10 m for the Type 41 and Type 81 models. The gas supply pressure of these brooders is propane at 50-150 mbar. These gas brooders, including all Alke Brooders in stock, come equipped with a standard flame failure shut-off valve that cuts off the gas supply if the flame is extinguished.
The air supply to the brooder is through a stainless steel dust filter.
Gas brooders do not require electricity to operate, making them popular in the game farming industry, where the absence of power in rearing fields is common.
