Collins Drysuit Stand A17
We had a great time exhibiting our Drysuits at the Emergency Services Show 2013. It was great to meet some of our lovely customers and to meet lots of new faces.
It was great to tell you all about our UK Manufactured drysuits and spread the word about the Collins quality!
As you can see from the photos we created a colourful stand with our range of drysuits! They certainly caught peoples eyes as they wandered the great expanse of the NEC Halls.
One of the main features that everyone was talking about was the Silicone Seal System. Its relatively new, and we have been using it in Surface and Diving drysuits for about 18 months – 2 years.
The Silicone System has an upfront cost to include it in the build of your new drysuit but in the long run it will save you a lot of money on repairs because you can change the neck and cuff seals yourself at ease! This means no carriage cost to get it to and from the repair centre, and no labour costs!
Our Telescopic Rescue Drysuit (First Responder) was also well received. It is built to a high standard but uses Lightweight Nylon in the upper half of the suit which makes the suit lighter to wear and easier to move in.
We hope that our presence at the show will benefit us in the months ahead, and steer some people our way when considering new Drysuits and PPE.
I have to say there has been a few to take up the Five Ten Canyoneer & SAR boot in show offer which is great! Everyone likes a bargain!
We will have to consider going back again next year. and now we know what to expect we can be even more prepared, and perhaps seek a premium location!
